Financial disclaimer

We teach how money works in Canada. We do not tell you what to do with yours.

Last updated October 24, 2026.

Finance Woman shares financial education, insights and general information for women in Canada. We are not a registered or licensed financial, investment, tax or legal adviser, and we do not sell or recommend financial products. Do your own research and speak to a licensed professional before you act.

Education and general information only

Everything on thefinancewoman.com, in our newsletter, social media, webinars, events and introductory calls is for education and general information. It does not consider your personal goals, finances, risk tolerance or tax situation, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, account or product.

Not registered or licensed advice

Finance Woman is not registered with any Canadian securities regulator and is not a licensed financial planner, financial advisor, insurance agent, mortgage broker, tax preparer or lawyer. Where professional credentials are mentioned (for example, CPA or PMP), they describe the founders’ professional backgrounds; Finance Woman does not offer public accounting, tax, legal or investment services.

No product recommendations

We do not sell financial products or receive commissions for recommending them. If we mention a product, app or institution, it is an example for education, not an endorsement. If we ever have a paid relationship with a company we mention, we will say so clearly.

Tools are estimates

Our calculators and planners give estimates based on the information you enter and the public rules we last reviewed. Results are not guaranteed. Investment returns can be negative, and past performance does not predict future results.

Rules change

Tax rules, contribution limits, benefit amounts and government programmes change. Content may not reflect the latest changes. Always confirm with official sources such as Canada.ca and the Canada Revenue Agency.

Before you act

Consider speaking with a qualified, licensed or registered professional about your own situation. You are responsible for your financial decisions.
